IMAGE.NET TO PARTNER WITH 61ST VENICE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL TO DISTRIBUTE PUBLICITY MATERIALS TO MEDIA WORLDWIDE
Santa Monica, CA--(September 7, 2004) - image.net is partnering with the 61st Venice International Film Festival (61st Mostra Internazionale d'Arte Cinematografica) to distribute publicity materials for films playing at the festival to media around the world. All publicity materials will be available to the press online beginning the middle of August.
This year's festival marks the 3rd year image.net has partnered with the Venice Film Festival to distribute publicity materials. image.net distributes publicity materials free to both the film festival and over 50,000 media users worldwide. A red carpet service distributing images from festival premieres and special events is also provided to key image.net entertainment clients.
The 61st Venice Film Festival, directed by Marco Müller, will open its doors at the Lido on September 1st. Screening some 100 new films from 28 countries around the world in five main sections and a project devoted to Italian genre cinema. "The service provided by image.net has proven extremely successful for the Venice International Film Festival as it raises the festival's image in the media and also provides an invaluable tool for the press office" said the Biennale press office, Venice Film Festival.
The image.net festival service began in 2002 and now works annually with film festivals around the world including Sundance, Sydney, Melbourne, Edinburgh, San Sebastian, Tokyo, and many others. The festival service aims to support international film festivals by providing rich and relevant content to registered image.net media users around the world.
